Underground Art

Last night we traveled to Brooklyn with our friend Skylar to visit Moe’s Tavern. Bri had invited us for a few drinks there, and being a few subway stops out on the 2/3, it was no problem to meet up. We needed to go to the Atlantic Avenue stop, where the MoMA was holding a special exhibit — Atlantic/Pacific.

I had read about the underground gallery online, but didn’t grasp the size of the subway station. Almost every recognizeable piece from MoMA’s permanent collection was on display, in interesting diptychs and tryptychs. Very well done, it’s absolutely worth a visit — even if it’s a brief stop between stations.
