My workplace, Rosetta, decided to have a happy hour this week in celebration of the new annual tradition called Practice Wars. Hosted at The Calendonia’s rooftop commons room, games were played ranging from Speed Jenga to Tinkertoy Heights. A great time was had by all with an open bar and good company — always nice to socialize outside the office with co-workers. A nice treat was the view of the Chelsea Market across the street, where we got a glimpse of the Food Network test kitchens:
The creative group and I stayed fairly late before heading out to a new bar on the West Side Highway — The Rusty Knot. The place was fashioned like a true dive bar, complete with Christmas lights, wood-paneling, and a cheap pool table.
We played about 4 games before calling it a night and headed home. Good times!
