I wanted to showcase a few recent fantastic dishes from Sharon — and her new favorite new Friday destination, the Union Square green market! Above is a handmade ravioli combination with sautéed summer squash and zucchinis as well as baby tomatoes. A hearty, yet great summer meal.
This was a soup and salad combination with all fresh herbs and vegetables. The soup was a zucchini base with basil and purslane accompanied by a spring mix of green market greens.
An amazing combination — local Grazin’ Acres Chorizo grilled to perfection over a bed of white beans and caramelized onions. On the side is a fresh herb salad, with endive and a light lime mayonnaise dressing. Add a roasted poblano pepper with feta cheese, parsley and lime juice dip on the side and I was in heaven.
